Interview #5 - Jessica Grubisa from Harman Grubisa
Can you tell us a little about your journey with your brand Harman Grubisa?
Myself and Madeleine (Harman) launched HG in August 2014. After both spending several years working in the industry from trend forecasting, editorial styling & production, we came to a point in our careers where exciting job opportunities would take us overseas -that’s when we decided it was now or never & turned them down to launch HG.
Since then it’s been an amazing journey. We have opened a Flagship store in Auckland,Ponsonby, debuted at NZFW and have just been nominated for the prestigious Woolmark award.
How long have you been stocked at PALM BOUTIQUE?
This is our first season being stocked at Palm :)

You have a strong following at PALM, why do you think your brand performs so well with us?
We offer a fresh & different perspective in the form of luxe clothing.
We focus on premium, cut, fabric and style - Our clothes are designed to last more than just a season- they are designed to be kept forever.
What are you working on at the moment?
We are currently completing our Woolmark submission - Regional final's are in Sydney in July! Our S/S Range ‘’ Feels like Vegas’’ is now in production, and we are currently gearing up for NZFW, which is set to be our biggest show yet. It’s a busy time at HG!

What are your favourite fabrics?
Silk - And all thing’s wool are divine to work with.

I have, and of course - Palm Boutique !!
