Can you tell us a little about your journey with your brand Lela Jacobs?
I feel very lucky as I have never had that moment that seems awfully common; where one has to put serious energy into figuring out what they want to do with their life. My journey has always been as a maker and will forever be as a maker.

Palm Boutique have supported me from the beginning.

Textural, minimalist, thoughtful.
You have a strong following at Palm Boutique, why do you think your brand performs so well with us?
That's lovely to know. I believe your buyers must be very smart.
What is your favourite new look for the coming season?
We have developed a digital print that is made up of photographs taken by my sister. This is going to be very fun and is quite bold for us.

Nick Cave.
What song are you playing on repeat at the moment?
Back into avant avant website and my records. No particular song.
What are you coveting most right now?
Possum merino silk socks and saunas.
What are your favourite fabrics?
Linen, silk, possum merino and silk blend and cotton silk.
Have you been to Nelson before? If so what was your favourite part?
Indeed I have. Both my dad and sister live in Nelson. I love the swimming holes and Palm Boutique of course!
What is your guilty pleasure?
Vegemite and cheese cruskets... this probably doesn’t sound that bad but I like them at about 2am… sleep eating.
