Refund policy
Easy Returns & Exchanges
At Palm Boutique, we want you to love what you order. At the same time, returning items has real impacts on small businesses and the environment, so we encourage thoughtful purchasing and discourage ordering multiple sizes or styles with the intent to return.
Full-Priced Items
If your full-priced purchase isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help with one of the following options:
- Exchange (subject to availability),
- Store credit, or
- Refund.
To arrange a return, please email us at info@palmboutique.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving your order. Once your return has been approved, please ensure your item is sent back within 7 days.
Returned products must be:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unmarked
- In original condition with tags attached
- Packaged securely and trackable (at your cost)
Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 1-3 days, and you’ll receive confirmation by email.
Note:
- A $15 deduction applies to cover the original shipping cost within New Zealand (this does not apply to exchanges).
- For items purchased via Afterpay, Zip, Klarna or PayPal, a 5% service fee will be deducted to recover non-refundable transaction costs (this does not apply to exchanges and store credits).
Sale & Discounted Items
Items purchased at a discount or on sale (including price mark downs, discount codes, and bulk buy offers) are final and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind, incorrect size, or fit.
Note: Full priced items purchased using the welcome / first order discount code are still eligible for return.
Faulty products will always be managed in line with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
International Orders
The same policy applies to international returns, with a $40 NZD deduction for Australia or $80 NZD deduction for other countries to cover the original shipping.
Please ensure all returns are sent via a trackable service.
Duties, taxes, and shipping fees are non-refundable.
Important Information
- Refunds, exchanges, and credits will only be processed once the item is received and deemed in original, sellable condition.
- Items returned with tags removed, signs of wear, or damage will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
- Please use a tracked courier, as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit.
